PU to celebrate Yoga Day with 4,000 to 5,000 participants – Times of India

Chandigarh: For the first time, Panjab University will organise large-scale celebrations on Yoga Day, which falls on June 21. The varsity has started preparations for the event. The first meeting of PU officials regarding the event has been held and the next round of meetings will be held this week.
Sources said 4,000 to 5,000 people will be invited to the PU campus on Yoga Day. Most of them will include students, staff and professors of Panjab University. Preparations are being made to involve all students in the Yoga Day programme. The training program will be conducted for a month. Participants will be informed about the protocol related to yoga. The yoga programme will be held in two shifts, morning and evening. Online training is being considered for those who will not be able to participate.
