AEW is the new wrestling promotion founded by Cody and The Young Bucks. It is a company that has been gaining a lot of attention because of the quality of its talent and the fan base they have gained over a short period of time.
Compared to WWE, AEW is very different in how it handles talent. The talent has full creative freedom to form their gimmick and character.
This can be a good thing in some cases, but it can also be a problem. If you aren’t a great wrestler, it can be hard to make your mark in AEW.
One of the most well known former wrestlers to sign with AEW is Sting. His debut in AEW was a real surprise, especially since he had not been seen in a while after his last appearance with TNA.
He has already wrestled four times with AEW, and has scored a few wins. He has also teamed with Darby Allin and won two tag team matches.
However, he has yet to compete for any major titles.
AEW has booked him in a ton of matches that have not made any sense. He has a ton of wins, but they have all felt like pointsless victories.
Brian Cage once looked like he could be a Batista-like star, but his booking has been poor at AEW. He hasn’t been able to string together a solid month of booking since 2021.
Cody Rhodes is another superstar that has been poorly booked at AEW. He was once a rising star, but has not had any major wins in his short time there.
