1. Friday Night Yoga at Black Cat Alley

FRIDAY FROM 6 P.M.-7 P.M. | BLACK CAT ALLEY

Head to Black Cat Alley to find your flow among the murals as they kick off the first week of their Friday Night Yoga series. After yoga, enjoy a cocktail (or a mocktail) at the Pharmacy Bar in the Crossroads Collective with your classmates. Bring your own yoga mat or reserve a rental ahead of time.

2. Wizard of Oz – Film with Orchestra

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AT 7:30 PM | BRADLEY SYMPHONY CENTER

The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra is your live soundtrack to the musical classic. Watch Judy Garland sing timeless melodies like “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” on the big screen in technicolor. Tickets are available online

3. Dino Don’s Dragon Kingdom

OPENS SATURDAY | MILWAUKEE COUNTY ZOO

Enter into the mythical world of dragons at the Milwaukee County Zoo, where you can encounter more than 15 animatronic creatures found in various cultures throughout the world. The Dragon Kingdom holds dragons that can breathe fire and fly. Marvel at the dragons’ wildlife features that tie-in their existence to endangered animals on the brink of extinction today.

4. Art in the Park

SATURDAY FROM 9 A.M.-3 P.M. | HENRY MILLER PARK

Henry Miller Park will host an array of creators from across the state who will display and sell their creations. The show will feature artists, crafters and product vendors from across the state in the hopes of encouraging students to participate in and appreciate the arts.

5. Harley-Davidson’s Honor Celebration

SATURDAY FROM 9 A.M.-4 P.M. | WISCONSIN HARLEY-DAVIDSON

Celebrate the nation’s veterans with Harley-Davidson. This free event features live music by Weird Science, a car show, a bike show, vendors and food. Motorcyclists can join the Honor Ride to the Wisconsin War Memorial, and all vets who are unable to ride can participate from the comfort of Jeeps provided.

6. Milwaukee Oddities & Curiosities Expo

SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M.-6 P.M. | WISCONSIN CENTER – HALL AB

Get in touch with your weird with vendors and dark artists that deal in all things odd. The Oddities & Curiosities Expo offers items such as: taxidermy, preserved specimens, antiques, handcrafted creations, jewelry and more. Tickets are available online or at the door. 

7. Eric Church at American Family Field

SATURDAY AT 7 P.M. | AMERICAN FAMILY FIELD

Have “One Hell of a Night” with Eric Church for his stadium show at American Family Field. The show will also feature special guests Brothers Osbourne and Parker McCollum. Tickets are available for purchase online

8. Family Kite Festival

SATURDAY 10 A.M.-6 P.M. AND SUNDAY 10 A.M.-5 P.M. | VETERANS PARK

The Kite Society of Wisconsin & Illinois and Gift of Wings are hosting this kite festival on Milwaukee’s lakefront. Be there for the Grand Launch at noon on Saturday and stay to watch multiple professional kite flyers perform, including the Fabulous Windjammers, the NO KNOTS flying team, and Milwaukee’s own Mike Delfar and Paul Koepke. Free kite flying lessons are available, as are food and vending.

9. Drag Show Brunch: Pride Kickoff

SUNDAY FROM 12 P.M.-2 P.M. | RED LION PUB

Start Pride Month off right with a Drag show. Relax on the Red Lion Pub’s rooftop patio while having brunch and fun drinks, and enjoy the show hosted by Lola Rome.

10. Indeed Brewing Makers Market

SUNDAY FROM 12 P.M.-6 P.M. | INDEED BREWING COMPANY

Indeed Brewing Company is bringing back their maker’s market. Shop the self-designed and handcrafted items from local and regional artisans and talk with the creators to find out what inspired their creations.

11. East Troy Brew Fest

SUNDAY FROM 3 P.M.-6 P.M. | EAST TROY VILLAGE SQUARE PARK

Sample from over 55 craft beers from local breweries and home brewers at East Troy’s 7th annual Brewfest. The event is part of the village’s annual Memorial Day Weekend Corn & Brat Roast running from May 27-May 30 that will include food, beverage, and live entertainment.

12. Tory Amos: Ocean to Ocean Tour

SUNDAY AT 7:30 PM | BRADLEY SYMPHONY CENTER

Tory Amos is a singer-songwriter who combines her music with visual art and social justice. She makes a stop in Milwaukee on her Ocean to Ocean tour for an album she created over the course of the pandemic. Read more about Tori Amos’s work here.

13. Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War and Auxiliary Memorial Day Service

MONDAY AT 10 A.M. | CALVARY CEMETERY

Leap into history on this Memorial Day with an outdoor service followed by cannon firing. During the patriotic program, there will be Civil War era music, an address by a President Abraham Lincoln presenter, a rifle salute and more.
